Our client is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide HR leadership for the Operations & Technology in the International and US & Canada regions.

As the HR Business Partner, you’ll execute and align enterprise and local human capital strategies in support of short and long-term business objectives. This role serves as an integral member of the HRBP team and will report to two HR Leaders, one based in the UK and one in the US.

You’ll partner with Human Resources Centers of Excellence to ensure enterprise programs are deployed and fully integrated within the business in the areas of talent management, compensation, employee relations, talent acquisition and HRIS.

The role will have a strong focus on the analytics to all for insightful data-driven decisions and allow the HRBP team to continuously assess and anticipate business needs and work with leadership to develop effective HR strategies and solutions.

The role maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s strategic focus and financial position, its value proposition, culture and competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities for the HR Business Partner:

  • Manage the execution of the business and HR plans including human capital change initiatives, talent acquisition, retention, reward/recognition and execution of actions resulting from organization re-design.

  • Assist with the development and execution of a talent management strategy to support employee engagement for the business/geography in partnership with the Talent Management Center of Expertise e.g. assess training needs, guide leaders through talent review and succession planning process; coach managers on how to be more effective developers of people

  • Acts as a key support to business leaders and other senior colleagues in all talent management activities including performance management, engagement, career development and diversity and inclusion activities.

  • Create and use workforce analytics that answer key strategic questions as identified by business leadership and business need.

  • Synthesize findings and translate complex analytic insights into tangible, actionable insights. Prepare presentations for HR and business management on strategic analysis, findings and recommendations that guide them in their decision making.

  • Partner with the Rewards and HR Systems Center of Expertise to implement performance management processes, salary review and year-end process, including assistance with job matching for salary survey participation, advising leadership on how to administer budget according to group guidelines, and addressing ad hoc pay issues throughout the year.

Requirements for the HR Business Partner:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related studies. Master’s degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, developing and executing HR plans and initiatives across multiple COEs (centres of excellence)

  • Excellent Analytical skills - the ability to work with large data sets and provide commentary to the business in a meaningful way

  • Proficient in Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Experience with effective change management in complex, highly matrixed environments

  • Ability to cultivate relationships and influence key stakeholders; a highly collaborative individual

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanour under pressure, and operate with a keen sense of urgency, confidentiality, and commitment to quality

  • Ability to use business acumen to exercise good judgment and decision-making when managing business decisions, including situations that lack clear solutions

  • Experience using workforce analytics to inform business decisions
