How to keep your motivation!

Mondays are the hardest day of the week, I am sure you’ll agree with me, so it’s time to talk about how to get motivated, stay motivated and push yourself through Monday. Here are Futures Recruitment Service’s top five ways to get #MondayMotivation and to keep proactive:

  1. Get inspiration!

Start your day on a positive note and try to get some inspiration to push you through the day - this can be anything ranging from having a good conversation with someone or even reading some inspirational quotes. Find what makes you want to get up and work and use it as an engine to drive you in whatever you choose to do.

  1. Pick a goal!

Next you need to decide what you want to achieve. This can be a goal for the week or the day, but pick something that you know you need to work on and write it down. You can pick more than one goal if you want to, just make sure you have a note of what you plan to do and start to think about how you are going to do it. If this is work tasks that you need to get completed, then write a list and prioritise what needs to be done first.

  1. Get started!

Sometimes the hardest part of doing what you need to do is the start of it. It is very easy to procrastinate and choose something else that is easier to do but remember that as soon as you have started you are on your way- .

  1. Get positive!

It can be easy to get stuck in a rut that you struggle to get out of. If your brain starts to feel low then take a moment away from what you are doing. Do something different, get some fresh air or go make yourself a drink - those five minutes will help your brain to refocus and help you start fresh for when you get back to the task at hand.

  1. Stick with it!

Now that you are on your way the most important thing to do is stick with it. You are on your way to achieving something now, and you need to make sure you stay focused on it. If you find your mind drifting or you try to do something else, look at the list you made earlier.

So there you have it, our top five tips to get motivated and stick to it. Finding motivation can be hard and keeping it can be even harder but remember that it will be worth it in the end once you have completed that goal!
