Senior Events Manager – Fareham, Hampshire - Permanent – Competitive Salary (DOE)

Futures Recruitment services are currently recruiting for an Events Manager to join an amazing team within a global company based in Fareham.

Our client is an award winning and industry leading financial services company with a high focus on employee retention and development. As the Event Manager you will have experience in organising events which engage all of the employees from across its different operating jurisdictions, to sustain their unique culture and enhance the employee experience, you will be responsible for the Christmas parties, quarterly events and their headline employee event bringing together all of their employees at once.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, oversee and implement all aspects of events including travel, accommodation and logistics of multiple events throughout the year

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business, including our Executive and People Committees, to establish clear objectives and KPIs

  • Prepare budgets and provide periodic status reports, keeping track of finances, invoicing and reporting for all of our events

  • Provide events expertise and guidance to various stakeholders across the business, including client-facing teams, support teams and sports & social committees, to ensure we deliver all events to the usual high standard

  • Assist with all other aspects of the event administration including internal and external communications, registration management, logistics and on-site event set up and event management

  • Travel to other jurisdictions, working closely with our client-facing and support teams to ensure a consistent approach and delivery of employee events and the overall framework


Skills, knowledge, expertise:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of events manager experience is essential, ideally employee/internal events, supported by a relevant qualification

  • Experience in managing budgets (circa. £1 million)

  • Project planning and event management skills

  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail

  • Financial and commercial knowledge to manage and report on event budgets

  • Creativity and a passion for creating engaging events is a must

  • Ability to work in a team with a range of people creating strong professional relationships

  • Track record in the creation and implementation of effective multi-jurisdictional events
